<p>Øivind Godager is one of the founders of WiOnetic AS. .</p>
<p>Mr. Godager is an entrepreneur in the downhole oil industry. He started offshore 43 years ago and has since 1984 mainly worked with design and development of downhole instrumentation and technology for the oil service sector.  He has been in senior positions with Matre Instruments (founder),  Roxar, and Sensor Developments (founder) and lately Halliburton. Godager started off his career with designing the first Norwegian made pressure/temperature memory recorders for transient well testing and proceeded to design pressure/temperature instrumentation to permanently monitor reservoir conditions real-time. His last adventures was the design an installation of the wireless LinX systems. The LinX systems enabled operators to install sensors on the outside of the well and wirelessly monitor the physical parameters directly facing the formations. Godager has more than 20 granted patents and has held numerous of technical presentations, workshops and seminars for the industry worldwide. He has supervised multiple oil well completions responsible for the bottom-hole assemblies hosting scientific permanent instrumentation, both on and offshore. Godager studied at NKI in Trondheim and is educated as a cybernetics engineer. His speciality and interest has mainly been directed to the science of measuring pressure, temperature, and electro magnetic properties under extreme conditions.</p>
